Pastor Ron Siemers was born in Massillon, Ohio. He is the second of six children. His parents are Ron & Dorothy Siemers. Pastor Siemers grew up in Des Moines and that is where he became a loyal fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings; his two favorite teams. Pastor went through his ministerial training at Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, Martin Luther Prep School in Prairie du Chien, Northwestern College in Watertown, WI, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He graduated from the Seminary in 1988. Before accepting the call to Immanuel, he served five congregations in Minnesota: Trinity and Beautiful Savior in Austin, Immanuel and Zion in Hutchinson, and Trinity in Nicollet.
Pastor is married to Sheryl and they have three grown sons. Sam is married to Gretchen. They live in the Milwaukee area with their children, Amelia and Harrison. Ben and his bride Emily also live in the Milwaukee area. Nate and his wife Meredith also reside in Milwaukee.
In his leisure time, Pastor enjoys going for walks, taking a bike ride, playing golf, reading and playing his guitar. He enjoys watching football, basketball, and golf. He loves many different styles of music and enjoys sharing that love with his church family at Immanuel.
